Watches, 1991-1994
Sometimes I have a problem with photography -- it starts to feel flat and
texture-less--other mediums have more of a dialogue in their
process -- painters talk to the paint and the paint talks to them. I do a lot
of collage -- this is a series I did of tiny sculptures built inside antique
pocket watch cases. Some of them have moving parts -- maybe it's hard to see
from the slide--I have also done some installation art, most of which is not
on the web site because it is hard to photograph.
